Apple is due to report its fiscal Q3 (calendar Q2) earnings on Tuesday, having issued revenue guidance of $43.5-45.5B. A research note by UBS says that AAPL is the most ‘underweight’ stock in global fund management accounts, reports Business Insider. This means that they have a lower percentage of AAPL stock than you’d expect from the company’s ranking in financial indices. Following a preview in 2010, Adobe has finally released a pre-release version of their ‘Wallaby’ Flash-to-HTML5 file conversion software. The software is easy for developers to use and allows developers to drag and drop their Flash content into an Adobe Air application that will then convert it to HTML5 code. The new code can then be completely edited in programs like Adobe Dreamweaver or manually by hand in text editing software....

Reddit pointed out this morning that the invaluable ‘EveryAppleVideo’ YouTube channel has gone dark for unknown reasons. Visiting the channel page takes you to an empty channel under a banner reading ‘This channel was closed and is no longer available.’ without further explanation. ‘Previously the channel hosted 1000+ Apple ads, keynotes, and other videos dating back to the 80s which served as the ultimate archive of sorts. Apple hosts its own ads and keynotes on YouTube regularly, although videos are frequently replaced when new material becomes available....

A report earlier this week indicated that this year’s iPhone refresh could be Apple’s biggest since the iPhone 6 year. Now, a survey from Loup Ventures suggests that intent to upgrade among iPhone users is far higher this year than it was last year. Loup Ventures surveyed 530 U.S. consumers regarding “their intent to purchase” for this year’s new iPhone models. Of those 530 who were surveyed, some 48 percent said they planned to upgrade to a newer iPhone within the next year....
