Huawei is going to launch phones under its flagship Mate series soon. The phones expected to be launched are a Mate 20, a higher end Mate 20 Pro, and a cheaper Mate 20 Lite. Press renders of the Mate 20 Lite were leaked yesterday, and now, what is expected to be the display assembly units of the Mate 20 or Mate 20 Pro have been leaked.

The photos were submitted to Slashleaks by Zyad, who is one of the most trusted leaker there with an accuracy of 96%. It looks like the phone is having a curved screen from two sides. The bezels are also very slim, actually one of the slimmest we’ve seen on a smartphone. But, the top bezel like most of the flagships released this year has a big notch with it. There are many notch haters out there, but some people also like it. Given the size of all other bezels, the phone looks to have a great screen to body ratio, most probably above 90%.

The Mate 20 is expected to pack some great features. The upcoming Kirin 980 chipset will power the phone, which will be a beast built on 7nm process. The Antutu score of the phone according to some earlier leaks will cross 350,000 mark. Also, Huawei is increasing the use of AI in the phone to make everything better with its dedicated NPU. The phone will also have upto 8GB of RAM.

Huawei is improving its quick charge tech as the chipset supports upto 40W of charging capacity. Also the Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 are expected to be water proof.
