Production on A Quiet Place 2, the follow-up to Paramount’s post-apocalyptic horror/thriller A Quiet Place, is reportedly slated to begin this summer. A Quiet Place was a hit with moviegoers and critics alike, so it was no surprise when Paramount decided to move forward with a sequel. It is not currently known if anyone from the previous movie will return to star, but John Krasinski, who directed, co-wrote, and starred in the film, has been working on the script for its upcoming continuation....

The voice actor behind Admiral Ackbar says he was unhappy with Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Laura Dern’s character Vice Admiral Holdo. Famous for the line, “It’s a trap!”, Ackbar first appeared in Star Wars: Episode VI- Return of the Jedi in 1983 and was voiced by Erik Bauersfeld. Bauersfeld returned in 2015 to voice Ackbar for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but Tom Kane has also provided the character’s voice on several occasions including The Last Jedi....

In a statement to ZDNet, Adobe said it ended support for Magento 1 on June 30, 2020. “We continue to encourage merchants to upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Commerce for the most up-to-date security, flexibility, extensibility, and scalability,” an Adobe spokesperson said. “At a minimum, we recommend Magento Open Source merchants on Magento 1 to upgrade to the latest version of Magento Open Source (built on Magento 2), to which Adobe contributes key security updates....

Reliable leaker @L0vetodream has tweeted to say that AirTags are ‘coming soon’ – and will be available in two different sizes. Some people were confused about why Apple is stuffing so many announcements into one event. Having called a single event “not logical” earlier in the day, Daring Fireball’s John Gruber now agrees with our prior reports: breaking tradition, there won’t be an October event this year. Noted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has provided relatively accurate information on future Apple product plans in the past (but frequent misses on timing), has issued a new report today indicating that the Apple smart watch will enter mass-production in November. Following last week’s leak of a substantially complete iPhone 6S display assembly, another screen has slipped out into the wild, where it has been placed alongside and compared against the same part from the iPhone 6 (shown above at left). European part and accessory vendor MacManiack shared this image, the photos in the gallery below, and a YouTube video contrasting the components.
